21 Moorfields

Towering over London’s Moorgate Station is a marvel of modern engineering – 21 Moorfields. This 17-story office building isn’t your typical high-rise. Built by Landsec, it has been constructed directly above Moorgate underground station, a feat achieved by Sir Robert McAlpine.

Designed by WilkinsonEyre. They overcame the complex challenges of building over an active railway line to create a stunning structure boasting over 550,000 square feet of prime office space.

The building is the new London headquarters for Deutsche Bank, offering features like expansive trading floors, dedicated wellness areas, and even six rooftop terraces.

21 Moorfields isn’t just about providing office space; it’s also contributing to the regeneration of the surrounding area. The development incorporates two public squares and a new walkway connecting to the Barbican Centre, a renowned arts and conference venue.

While the building itself is nearing completion and is expected to be fully occupied by Spring 2024, 21 Moorfields stands as a testament to the collaborative effort between architects, engineers, and construction companies. It’s sure to become a focal point in London’s ever-evolving skyline.
