My general rule for interior photography and this entire website, is to make it about London. This is purely to give you an overview of everything happening in the city. I make exceptions of course if the project warrants it. When I had the call for the new design centre of Jaguar Landrover, i couldnt say no. Even though the project was essentially CAT A (which is just the basics: raised floors and suspended ceilings and basic mechanical and electrical services) I could at least experience the interior design and architecture and see how you would design a building with the intention of creating the future of automobiles. Huge hallways which are designed for cars to be moved around the building, a vast opaque window which creates a softbox effect to let light spill in over the workspace. Its all rather beautiful and amazing to experience the thought that goes into creating what is, after all, a humongous garage.
